Glenda Evans of Linsdale, TN passed away with loved ones at her side on Friday, April, 11, 2025.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother.

Glenda was a lifetime member of Old Salem Baptist Church.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, James (Ed) Evans; her parents, Mart Davis and Essie Gurley Davis; and her brother, Paul Davis.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Mike) Laycock and Alan Evans; grandchildren, Rebecca (Ryan) St.John, Brad Atkins, Kayla Bradford, and Martin Evans; and great-grandchildren, Anamarie and Tobias.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April, 13, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee, TN. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be given to the Activity Department at NHC Athens, 1204 Frye St., Athens, TN 37303.
