Glenda McKinney, 76, of Athens, TN passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Boyd and Dorothy Bivens. She was a member of Goodsprings Baptist Church and retired from John's Manville. Glenda loved attending to her flower beds and more than anything she loved her grandchildren and great-grand babies and her dog, Bella.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tim DeBord, Susan and Mitchell Gambill; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Tracy McKinney, grandchildren, Matthew Davis, Zachary Poteet, Brooke Sparks, Brandi Sparks, Bradley Sparks, Briar McKinney and Michelle Gambill; great-grandchildren, Kynnadee Poteet, Reagan Poteet and Owen Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Hershel and Phyllis Casteel; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Judy Bivens; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Hammonds officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21st, and proceed to Goodsprings Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.

Zachary Poteet, Matthew Davis, Bradley Sparks, Briar McKinney, Mitchell Gambill and Charles Bivens will serve as pallbearers.
