Grace Leslie Goodman, 92 of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Ray Starritt and Gussie Eliza Leslie.

She was a longtime member of Carlock United Methodist Church and taught adult Sunday school class until her failing health.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Goodman; sisters, Sara Weir, Margaret Jones, Sue Brawner, Martha Simmons, Pearl Crockett; and brother, Joe Leslie.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Steve Cox of Etowah; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Cheryl Goodman of Swainsboro, GA, Bill and Becky Goodman of Haymarket, VA, Tom Goodman of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren and spouses, Brett and Jody Cox of Dayton, TN, Wendy Couch, Samatha and Billy Manis all of Etowah, TN, Emily and Daniel Bush of Evans, GA, Jennifer and Charlton Fales of Waycross, GA, Jeremy and Jeanette Goodman of Decatur, GA, Jessica Goodman of Fairfax, VA, Catherine Goodman of Dumfries, VA, J.P. and April Goodman of Raleigh, NC, Amy Goodman of Atlanta, GA; sister, Johnnie Barnett of Benton, TN; great-grandchildren, Adin Cox, Emily and Tyler Boring, Jason and Charley Royal, Gracie and Emma Manis, Alex, Ben and Braden Couch, Luke, Logan and Elise Sowell, Jack Fales, West and Evie Goodman; and other extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Humberd officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Green Hill Cemetery Friday, June 15th for the 10:00 a.m. committal service.

Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
