Gregory Clay Hale, 55,of Athens, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at his residence. A member of the Athens VFW and served in the Air Force. He was the son of the late Carl and Jimmie Louise Hale. Preceded in death by 1 sister Kathy Hale; and 1 brother, Scott Hale.

Survivors include 1 brother, Don Hale of Etowah; and niece, Diane Hale; several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Military Honors and Mark Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday prior to the service.
