Gwendolyn K. Elliott, 77, of Athens, TN joined her heavenly father on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Preceded in death by her husband, of 55 years, Jack R. Elliott; her parents, Jacob and Helen Johnson of Knoxville, TN

Survived by her two daughters, Mitzi Elliott and Jackie Elliott Fister; son-in-law, Zach Fister; grandsons, Patrick, Oliver, Adam, Max and Jack; sister, Tammy Poteet.

She graduated from Fulton High School in 1963 and married Jack in 1967. She was employed at Fashionique from 1994 to 2000. She and Jack retired in 2007 in Athens, TN. She was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church. She loved and enjoyed her family, pets and gardening.

Gwen was a kind and generous woman and was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Ellis officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Knoxville, TN Friday, December 30 ^th for the 1:00 p.m., committal service.

Zach Fister, Patrick Carey, Oliver Fister, Adam Carey, Max Fister and Kris Schutter will serve as Pallbearers.
