Harold C. Casteel, 56, of Englewood, passed away peacefully at the home of his sister in Englewood, Saturday morning, April 9, 2011.He was a native of McMinn County and lived in Meigs County for several years. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Casteel; grandparents, Joe and Shirley Green and Horace and Alma Casteel. Survivors include mother and step-father, Jasper and Freda Casteel Watson of Loudon, TN; children, Beth Blankenship Miller and husband, Robby of Englewood, TN, Chad Casteel, of Decatur, TN and Amber Casteel of Decatur, TN; grandchildren, Chase Blankenship, Athan Guffey and Tessa Swafford; sister and brother-in-law, Patrenia "Trina" and Scott Curtis, Englewood, TN; nephews, Scott Curtis II and Eric Curtis of Englewood, TN; special cousins, Terry Bowers, Janet Brooks and Janice McCullough; special friends, Jan and Randy Butch, Larry Jo Miller, Randy Whitener and Gloria Casteel; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin and lots of friends. Funeral service will be held 8 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Pat McCulley and Rev. Randy Irons officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday prior to the service. Randy Whitener, Larry Joe Miller, Randy Butcher, David Green, Terry Bowers, Jerry Green, Chase Blankenship, Athan Guffey, Scott Curtis II and Eric Curtis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
