Harold D. Casteel, 81 of Etowah passed away November 5, 2015 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens.

He was a son of the late Samuel and Izziebell Isbill Casteel and a member of Gateway Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his parents, listed above.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Lois Casteel of Etowah; sons and daughters-in-law, Harold Dean and Concetta Cummings of Italy, Carter and Marilyn Casteel of Alaska; grandchildren, Josh and Jonah Cummings, John and Alex Casteel; great-grandsons, Damion and Marques Casteel; brother, Dwane Casteel of Charlestown, WV; sister, Faye Harris of Cartersville, GA; special friend, Zoe Barkley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Liberty Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
