Harold E. McNelley, 87 of Etowah, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. A member of Goodsprings Baptist Church and was son of the late Robert "Bob" and Winnie Mayfield McNelley. Preceded in death by his brothers, J.R., Fred, and Leon McNelley.

Harold was a loving husband and dedicated to his wife and his church.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jo Ann McNelley of Etowah, TN; sisters and brother-in-law, Shelby and Roy Wright of Tullahoma, TN, and Edith Crumley of Ocoee, TN; brother, Kenneth McNelley of Cleveland, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Oran Creasman and Dr. Scott Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 12:00 p.m. committal service.
