Hazel Crittenden Moses, 87 of Etowah, TN passed away Friday April 21, 2017 at UT Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late John Hodge Crittenden and Bertha Shoemaker Crittenden.

She attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and trained in Knoxville to be an X-Ray Technician.

Preceded in death by her 4 sisters; 1 brother; and a niece and nephew.

Hazel had a talent for music and loved her dogs and flowers. She was an active member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, the Etowah Senior Center and member of Order of Eastern Star.

She will be missed by her church family, friends and family members

Survivors include, several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lois Alloway, Dr. Tracy Price and Matt Price.

Eastern Star service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow the Eastern Star Service with Rev. John Crabtree officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Barker Family Cemetery off County Road 635 in Athens, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.
