Helen Culpepper, age 86, of Englewood, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2012 at Etowah Health Care, Etowah, TN. She was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and a member of Mars Hill United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Verne L. and Bertha Newman Moses and was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm R. Culpepper; her parents, listed above; her son, Johnny R. Culpepper, and two brothers, Wayne and Herman Moses.Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Leonard and Kay Culpepper of Cleveland, TN and Eddie and Pat Culpepper of St. Matthews, SC; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Sunrise Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013 in the North Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to American Cancer Society C/O Faye Forgety 120 Co.
