Helen Louella Lunsford, 77 of Athens, TN passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at Dominion Assisted Living of Athens, TN.

She was a native of Charleston, TN and moved to Etowah with her husband until his passing.

She was a daughter of the late G.W. and Barsha Houston.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marlon H. Lunsford.

She worked many years in manufacturing and later years at K-Mart. She was a member of Mars Hill Methodist Church of Englewood. Her greatest accomplishment was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cassandra and Sky Haren of Athens, TN, Shannon and Scott Zinkiewicz of Crossville, TN; five grandchildren, Ryland Haren, Thomas Haren, Nate Haren, Hailey (Robert) Ball and Courtney Wells; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Becky Houston; sister-in-law, Rhonda Neisler; and brother-in-law, Doug Lunsford; several nieces and nephews. Her Dominion Family whom she loved dearly and very special friends, Tayla, Abby and Maddi.

Family and friends will assemble at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, February 27th at the funeral home and proceed to Council Baptist Church Cemetery in Charleston, TN for the 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Pastor Tim Womac officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ryland Haren, Thomas Haren, Nate Haren, Robert Ball and James Lunsford.
