Rev. Homer F. Belcher, 84, of Etowah, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Skyridge Medical Center. He was the son of the late Anderson Rilley and Maggie Jane Belcher. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Troy Belcher, Jacksonville, FL; and sister, Alma Mae King, Etowah.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Opal "Joyce" Belcher of Etowah; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Vickie Belcher of Etowah; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Doug Ezell of Athens, Charlotte and John Padgett of Athens, TN; grandchildren, Amanda and David Moses, Haley Padgett, Ryan Ezell and fiancé Dana Rookard, Aaron and Jackie Shipman; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Brittany W. Moses, Brittany Moses, Logan Crabtree, Aaliyah Moses and Stella Padgett; sister, Lucille Mayfield of Etowah, sister-in-law; Connie Belcher of Cleveland, TN.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 11, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Rowland and Dennis Bordwine Officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Monday May 12, 2014 at the funeral home and proceed to Cambria Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
