Howard Blake "Friday" Grisham, 95, of Etowah, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his residence. He was a native of McMinn County and a member of Goodsprings Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Oscar and Brazle Grisham. Proceded in death by 5 brothers, Ott, Chan, Jack, Hugh and Ross Grisham; 4 sisters, Nellie Gaines, Beulah Johnson, Sue Carver and Nola Grisham.
Survivors include Wife of 72 years, Leecie Carver Grisham of Etowah; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Sam Anderson, Bennie and Harold Rogers; 2 granddaughters and spouses, Joye and James Bryan, Tammye and Lonnie Lynn; 1 grandson, Tracy Rogers; Great-grandchildren, Trina and Steven Ingram, Holly Bryan, Nathan Rogers and Amber Rogers; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Ingram, Bayleigh Ingram, Skylar Ingram, A.J. McKinney and Montanna McKinney; 1 great-great-great-granddaughter, Addie Ingram; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Wayne Cooper.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Goodsprings Cemetery with Rev. Oran Creasman officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Pallbearers will be Sam Anderson, Lonnie Lynn, Harold Rogers, James Bryan, Tracy Rogers, A.J. McKinney, Nathan Rogers and Wayne Cooper.
