Hoyt Dwayne Goforth, 46, of Etowah, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. A native of McMinn County, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Goforth; his grandfather, Hoyt G. Graves; his grandmother, Ruth Graves; his grandfather, Hack Goforth; and his grandmother, Sally Goforth. Survivors include his loving wife, Kim Marie Goforth; two stepsons and their spouses, Chris and Brandi Budds and Patrick Budds and Angela Meadows; one daughter, Shelby Jade Goforth; one granddaughter, Aly Budds; his mother and stepfather, Thelma Junie Aldridge and Arnold Aldridge; his father, James Dean Goforth Sr.; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry Goforth and Marie Underdown; one sister, Angela Aldridge; and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ray and Michelle McDaniel; his mother-in-law, Judy Budds; one brother-in-law, Richard Budds; two nieces, Morgan Smith, Micaela Smith and Alyssa McDaniel; two nephews and one spouse, Justin and Heather McDaniel and Nathan McDaniel and his companion, Stephanie Rymer; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Fairall officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meigs County. Pallbearers will be Patrick Budds, Richard Budds, Justin McDaniel, Nathan McDaniel, Dough Underwood and Steven Ingram. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
