Hubert N. Evans, 77 of Reliance, TN. passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He retired from TVA and continued to work for Reliance Convience Center for 22 years. He was a Deacon and longtime member at Calvary Church of God and was an Ordained Minister.

Preceded in death by his parents, Goley and Lilly Evans; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Parnick and Ollie Waldrop, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Lura Mae Evans; daughters and sons-in-law, Henrietta Mae and Doug Jones, Regina Kay and Tony Jones; sons and daughters-in-law, Parnick Nath and Robin Evans, Hubert Jeffery and Debbie Evans; grandchildren and spouses, Alisha and Vence Elrod, Justin and Trista Jones, Christopher and Nicole Peels, Michael Peels, Matthew Evans, Dylan Jones, Kaylynn Evans and Bristal Evans; sister and brother-in-law, Inez and Jerry Fain; brother, Ernest Evans; and sister-in-law, Opalene Freeman.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Bragg officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 25th, and proceed to Hiwassee Union Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.
