Hugene (Gene) Casteel, age68of Englewood, TN,passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015at his residence. He was theson of the late Milburn and Mattie Beasley Casteel.

Gene was preceded in death by hisparents, listed above; sister, Elizabeth Humber,and brothers Leonard and Claude Casteel

Gene loved to hunt and fish. He loved his family greatly.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years; Mary Sue (Graves) Casteel of Englewood,Daughter; Denise Casteel,Stepson; Lonnie Graves,Stepdaughter; Lisa Lowe,Sisters and spouses,Juanita Akins,Lossie Derrick,Linda and Jack Coleman, andLavern and Larry Harris,Grandchildren; Tashena Williams, Bridgett Lowe, Susan Lowe, Skylar Graham and Addie Ingram,Several nieces and nephews andSpecial Friends; Steve Ingram, Steven Ingram and Lynn Bryan

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.Rev. Frank Kincannon will officiate.Family and friends will assemble Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home and go in procession to Conasauga Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.

Steve Ingram, Steven Ingram, Allen Coleman, Cole Wheller, Chris Casteel and Wayne Moses will serve as pallbearers.
