Husley Reed Johnson, 82, of Englewood, passed away, Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home, Etowah, TN.

Reed was a native of McMinn County and the son of the late Zeb and Georgann Johnson. He was a member of Dixon Avenue Baptist Church, a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Englewood Manila Masonic Lodge # 633, and the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents, listed above; sister, Frances Watts; and four brothers, Auther, Lee Roy, Ed, and Jim Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ina Jo Johnson of Englewood; son, Randal Johnson of Sweetwater; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Coleman of Englewood, and Nadine and Edwin Wilson of Etowah; beloved Godchildren, Cole and Haley Sitzlar of Englewood; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Committal service will follow the funeral service at McMinn Memory Gardens.
