Ida Lee Martin, 91, a former resident of Englewood, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Englewood, she was a member of Englewood Christian Church. A daughter of the late Jim and Tina Cochran, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Tina Cochran; her former husband, Henry Patterson; her second husband, Walter Martin; two brothers, R.C. Cochran and James Cochran; one sister, Pauline McConkey; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Linda Martin; and one step-grandson, Matt Martin. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Judy Patterson of Calhoun; two grandsons and their spouses, Mike and Tammie Patterson of Scotts Hill, and David and Gayla Patterson of Lenior City; three great-grandchildren, Emma Patterson of Lenior City, and Todd and Ian Patterson, both of Scotts Hill; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Clara Cochran and Claude and Brenda Cochran, all of Englewood; one sister-in-law, Helen Cochran of Madisonville; one stepdaughter, Sue Epperson of Madisonville; step-grandchildren, Eddie Scarbrough of Madisonville, Jimmie Sue and Buddy Martin of Athens, Carla and Jeff Roberson of Madisonville, Johnny Scarbrough and Ivan Scarbrough, both of Etowah, Tammy Martin of Tellico Plains, and Jerry Wayne and Lisa Martin of Tellico Plains; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mars Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mary Parson officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Patterson, David Patterson, Chris Cochran, Dylan Cochran, Chris Bradley, Brent Thrasher and Anthony Martin. Eddie Scarbrough will serve as an honorary pallbearer. No formal visitation will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the food pantry at Calhoun United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 185, Calhoun, TN 37309.
