Irma June Smith, 69 of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville. A native of Franklin, TN and a daughter of the late Felix and Ruby Turman. Preceded in death by 3 sisters, Dorothy Dillon, Mary Wilson and Judy Crowder; 1 great-granddaughter, Emma Gosnell. Survivors include 1 son and daughter-in-law, Tony and DeeDee Smith; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Alice and Keith Casteel and Kim Smith all of Etowah; 5 grandchildren, Kayla Gosnell, Candace Smith, Isabella Casteel, Nicholas Smith and Carson Casteel; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaygen, Leelynd, Kora and Kensley; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Lonnie Turman, Felix "Jr." and Velma Turman, Thomas and Carline Turman, James and Lynn Turman; 4 sisters, Annie Lou Bently, Daisy Dye, Violet Shelby and Ida Beard; many special nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Rowland officiating. Family will receive friends from 11 to 1 Wednesday prior to the service. Interment will follow service to Cambria Cemetery, Delano; Pallbearers will be 2 grandsons, Nicholas Smith and Carson Casteel, 4 brothers, Lonnie, Jr., Thomas and James Turman.
