Ishame "Lee" McAmis, 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ishame "Doc" and Mae McAmis; and beloved step-mother, Stella McAmis Ledford; brothers, Emory McAmis and Orval McAmis.

Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Evelyn McAmis; children and their spouses, Sharon and Jerry West, Greg and Kristi McAmis; brother, Ron McAmis; grandchildren, Brittney Davidson and husband, Clint, Stephanie Wilson and husband, Jeremy, Phillip West, Ty West and wife, Lauren, Asia Watson and husband, Andy; great-grandchildren, Brent Boatman, Elley Sue Wilson, Jeremiah Davidson, Josiah Davidson, Jonah Davidson, Sage West, Katie West and Anna West; several nieces and nephews.

Lee loved the Lord and was a member of Englewood Christian Church. He was a retired Supervisor of Mechanics and an avid sports fan who rarely missed watching a Boston Red Sox or Tennessee Vols game. He coached basketball and baseball for over 70 years! Lee loved spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Englewood Christian Church with Charlie Morris and Minister David Lewis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service at the church.

Family and friends will assemble Thursday, August 25 ^th at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 12:00 p.m. committal service.

Brent Boatman, Clint Davidson, Jeremy Wilson, Phillip West, Ty West and Jeremiah Davidson will serve as pallbearers.
