Jack D. McKinney, 85, of Englewood, TN passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at his residence. He was a son of the late Lloyd and Mayme McKinney and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a hard worker with occupations including saw milling, contracting with the TVA clearing right of ways and became an entrepreneur of real estate.

Preceded in death by his sons, Rusty and Ricky McKinney; brother, Dan McKinney.

Survivors include his daughters, Lea Bohanan of New Port Richey, FL,Brenda Fisk of Clewiston, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie McKinney of Athens, TN, Mike and Lisa McKinney of Athens, TN, Danny and Rae Jean McKinney of Las Cruces, NM; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers-in-law.

A Funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m., Sunday, August, 23, 2015 at Liberty Hill Church of Christ with Minister Pat Wilson officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Interment will follow service in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Tennessee Children's Home, P.O. Box 10 Spring Hill, TN 37174 both of which were very important to him.
