James "Bo" Edward Blankenship, 49, of Etowah, TN passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.

James is preceded in death by his father, Freddie Blankenship; his maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Hamby.

Bo was of the Christian Faith; he loved to spend time with his wife and two sons; he enjoyed riding bikes, fishing, and game nights on weekends with his boys.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, April Reagan Wheeler Blankenship; his two sons, Bennett Reagan James Blankenship and Camden Neil Allen Blankenship; mother, Joann Hamby Blankenship; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Johnny Henderson; father-in-law whom Bo was very close to and mother-in-law, Reagan Neil and Jane Wheeler; step-mother, Jane Hicks Blankenship; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wendy Wheeler Stough and husband, Jacob; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial/graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20 ^th in Green Hill Cemetery.

No formal visitation will be held.
