James "Snowball" Brown, 86, a native and lifelong resident of Englewood, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. He was of Christian faith, and a member of the Englewood Lions Club. He served his country in the US Marine Corp and was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. Preceded in death by his Wife, Ollie Brown; Parents, Henry and Georgia Brown; three brothers and four sisters. Survivors include one daughter Frankie Lee of Jacksonville, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Lenee Brown of Englewood, TN; one grandson, Nathan Brown of Englewood; and one granddaughter, Shannon Kelly of Jacksonville, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Patsy Brown of Englewood; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2012 at Sunrise Cemetery with Minister David Caffee officiating. No formal visitation.
