James Dale Buckner, 53, of Englewood, Tennessee, passed away, Monday, May 16, 2016.

He was born September 22, 1962 in Athens, Tennessee to J.L. and Mary Etta "Land" Buckner. Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Etta "Land" Buckner, Kathy Elaine "Dill" Buckner of a previous marriage; brother, Mark; and sister, Rachel.

Dale is survived by his father J.L. Buckner of Delano, Tennessee; wife Charlotte of Englewood, Tennessee; two sons, Eric Buckner of Knoxville, Tennessee and Chris Simpson of Madisonville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Jade and Callie Buckner, Eli and Kristen Simpson, Jaylin Simpson, and Kaily Ware; sisters Gracie, Jeanette and Karen; and brother Johnnie.

A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home followed by a Memorial service. Clergy Roy Goodman will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
