James Knox "Jimmy" Williams, 68, of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

James was an industrial and creative welder. He always kept busy and was willing to help anyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Knox and Nell Williams.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tara Nichols and Tom Pearson, of Largo FL; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Larry Parker of Etowah, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Dan Paul and Angie Williams of Riceville, TN; grandchildren, Karlee Nichols, of Knoxville, Anderson Nichols and Emily Nichols both of Largo FL; special friend Sonya Deaver of Athens, TN.

The family would like to thank the special caregivers, the nurses and staff on A wing at Starr Regional Health and Rehabilitation Center and especially Dr. Nathan Trentham.

Family and friends will gather at Etowah City Cemetery for a graveside memorial service at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2024 with Pastor Dave Whaley officiating.
