James "Pat" Wilson, 75, of Englewood, TN passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at his residence.

Preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Bertie Wilson; brother, Dwight Wilson and son, Greg Wilson.

Pat was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan; taught 30 years at Tellico Plains High School; and ministered at Starr Mountain Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Wilson; daughter, Lily Wilson, daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Jerry Hale; grandson, David Owens, Jr.; grandson and wife, Matthew and Holly Owens; granddaughters and spouses, Mandalyn and Toure' Lewis, Jerrica and Matt Knittel, Tori Hale; special daughter, Joan and Vernon Cross; special grandson, Myles and Paige Powell; great-grandchildren, Journey and Ali Lewis; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Debbie Wilson; nieces, Michelle Wilson, Tonya Williams, Christy and Stephen Barajas; great-nieces, Mandy Williams, Cassidy and Isabella Barajas; his beloved church family at Starr Mountain Church of Christ and friends and collages at Tellico Plains High School.

Per his wishes, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Englewood with Minister Johnny Jenkins officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Pat request to remember the 2nd commandment "love your neighbor as thyself" do something for your fellow man.
