James S. Smith, 100, passed away, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center. He was a longtime resident of Delano, TNand was a son of George Blackwell and Lizzie Lee Williams Smith. He is preceeded in death by his wife, Mary E. Smith and his parents, listed above. He is survived by one son, Edwin S. Smith of Delano, TN. No formal service will be held at this time. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Courtland Cemetery in Courtland, VA.
