James Lynn Snyder, 72, of Etowah, TN passed away Monday, October 16, 2023.

James was proud to be a United States Navy Veteran. He worked for over thirty years as a conductor for the CSX Railroad. James was a member of First Christian Church of Etowah. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Glenn and Elizabeth Jane Adams Snyder; brother, Ivan Snyder.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Patrick Kaminski; grandson, Luca Kaminski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Angela Snyder, Bobby Snyder, Billy and Theresa Snyder, and Chuck Snyder.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2023, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

Interment to follow the service in Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 20th prior to the service.
