James Wilcox, 69 of Etowah, TN passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at UT Medical Center. He was a son of the late Joseph and Bertha Wilcox. He was a conductor for CSX Railroad for over 30 years. Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Juanita Davenport

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Elaine Wilcox of Etowah; son, Bobby Wilcox of Etowah; brother, J.N. Wilcox of Spokane, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2016 at Conasauga Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held.
