James Virgil Yarber, 73, of Englewood, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was the son of the late Robert and Alice Barnett Yarber. Preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Luther, Clyde and Gary Yarber.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Beatrice Hughes Yarber of Englewood; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi Yarber Darnell and husband Jeff Darnell of Englewood; grandchildren, Kennedy Ava Darnell and Kampbell Grace Darnell both of Englewood; brothers, Homer Yarber of Cleveland, TN, Bart Yarber of Benton, TN and Barney Yarber of Englewood; sisters and brother-in-law, Leadene Yarber Price and husband Bobby Price of Reliance, TN, Faye Yarber of Lancaster, PA.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Brown Officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m., Sunday May 18th at the funeral home and proceed to Zion Hill Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Jack Raper, Lynn Brown, Bobby Roberts, Bud Bearfield, Scott Gay and Bobby Price. Larry Duff will serve as honorary pallbearer.
