Jamie Bankston Robison, 56, of Nashville, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. A native of Chattanooga, and a lifelong resident of Nashville, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, fishing and music. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Community in Nashville, and was preceded in death by her father, James Bankston; and her mother and stepfather, Juanita and Ralph Bancroft. Survivors include her husband, Al Robison of Nashville; one daughter, Hailey Robison of Nashville; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Sam Helms of Nashville; one nephew, Tanner Helms of Nashville; one niece, Alyssa Helms of Nashville; one uncle, Alvin Shugart of Etowah; one aunt, Jewl Copeland of Etowah; and three cousins, Phil Copeland of Etowah, and Jimmy Copeland and Craig Irby, both of Atlanta, Ga. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Etowah Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012at St. Stephen's Catholic Community, Nashville, TN. No formal visitation will be held.
