Janis Bivens Brock, of Englewood, TN passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Henri Etta Moses Bivens and Kenneth D. Bivens; before retirement, she was employed at AUB as a clerk. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, James "Dud-do" Brock; two daughters and son-in-law, Paige Brock of Pensacola, FL and Kerry Brock and Allen Brimer of Somerset, KY; brother and sister-in-law, Spence and Jackie Harris of Corryton, TN and sister and brother-in-law, Connie Bivens Martin and Doug Martin of Oak Ridge, TN; many nieces and nephews; two aunts and one uncle; and four grandchildren, Grace, Ben, Aidan, and Eli who were the absolute light of her life. She loved flowers, making things beautiful, and loving on her grandchildren. She was the most willing person to be there in time of trouble, especially to those who would otherwise be overlooked. She will be sorely missed by all, and will be loved forever.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at New Zion Cemetery with Dr. John E. Pennington, Jr. and Rev. Stan Hammons officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
