Jaylen Duvante Beasley Reid, 2, of Englewood, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville. A native of Athens, he was a son of Andrew Reid and Chasidy Beasley of Englewood. In addition to his parents, he was survived by two brothers, Ezariah Reid of Englewood and Alden Lee Keith of Athens; one sister, Kaylee Dayanna Stewart of Englewood; grandparents, Marty Reid of Englewood, Ronnie Beasley of Maxton, NC, Alicia Beasley of Maxton, NC, Yvette Locklear of Charlotte, NC, and Chris Gourtney of Charlotte, NC; great-grandparents, Elizabeth Locklear of Charlotte, NC and Margaret Cowart of Etowah; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 in the South Chapel with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28th for the committal service.
