Jerome Stephansen, 78, of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his residence. He was a son of the late Norman and Florence Stephansen; a member of North Etowah Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Marines.

Preceded in death by his parents, listed above; and brother, William Stephansen.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Stephansen; children, Mike Stephansen, Jennifer VanDerveer, David Stephansen, Danny Stephansen, and Don Stephansen; grandchildren, Jessica Stephansen, Brian Messer and Alex Stephansen; he had a large loving family.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at North Etowah Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Wade officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
