Jerry Elmer Brock, 73, of Etowah passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Parkwest Medical Center.

He was a son of the late Fred V. and Velma Hampton Brock and a mechanic by trade and worked at the Athens Coop and retired from Dooley Tractor Company. Preceded in death by his parents; and 1 sister, Judy Brock.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Hembree Brock of Etowah; 2 step-sons and spouses, Allen and Tena Yarber of Etowah, Shane and Pam Yarber of Etowah; Grandchildren, Justin Yarber, Shelby Yarber, Mackenzie Yarber, Skylar Shell and Braden Yarber all of Etowah.

Graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Hampton Cemetery with Mark Latham and D.C. Kirk officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m., and proceed to Hampton Cemetery for the 4:00 p.m., Graveside service.

* Due to the inclement weather, visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m, Wednesday. We will proceed to Hampton Cemetery for a 3;00 p.m., Graveside service.
