Jerry Cheek, 78, of Etowah, TN passed away peacefully, Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home.

Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969. He was stationed at Pease Airforce Base in Portsmouth, NH. He retired from CSX Railroad.

Preceded in death by his parents, Amos Cheek and Mary Cheek Butler; granddaughter, Cayci Cheek.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Stone Cheek; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shannon Cheek; daughter, Donna Cheek; grandchildren, Laura Cheek, Hayden Cheek, Logan and Hannah McCracken; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Linda Cheek; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Chuck Peavy; nephew, David Cheek; nieces, Elizabeth Rose, Erica Cook and Alex Sullivan.

Family will assemble at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 28th at the funeral home and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 11:30 a.m. graveside service with Dennis Bordwine officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.
