Jerry Qualls, 70, of Etowah, TN passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his residence. A son of the late Alba and Carlie Qualls of Blount Co.

He retired from Bowater Technical Dept. and served in the National Guard.

Preceded in death by his parents, listed above.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Jo Qualls of Etowah; daughter, Whitney Qualls of Austin, TX; sister, Carol Hunt and Ken Coe of Stuart, FL; sister-in-law, Glenda Hawkins of Alcoa; brother-in-law and wife, David and Sandy Costner of Maryville; nieces, Diane Hunt of Stuart, FL; Stephanie and Brian Kluever of Maryville, Nikki Goins of Knoxville; great-niece, Lillie Goins.

Jerry loved yard work, UT sports, his alma mater, Alcoa High School. A lover of dogs, memorial contributions may be made to McMinn County Humane Society, P.O. Box 7, Athens, TN 37371 or any organization of your choice.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date.
