Jesse R. Jay, 94, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret "Margie" Jay and son, Richard Jay.

He is survived by one son, Rusty Jay and wife, Regina; one daughter, Pam OKeefe, and three grandchildren.

Jesse was a life- long member of Ringgold First Baptist Church; he served in the army during WWII and worked at DuPont Nylon for 43 years.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dan Whitaker officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Christ Chapel, 223 Inman Street, Ringgold, GA, 30736.
