Jimmie Evans, 93, of Walland, TN, formally of Etowah, TN passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Jimmie proudly served our country in the US Navy, during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his wife, Eva Grace Evans; brothers, Edmund, Ralph and Ozell Evans; parents, Claud and Nora Evans.

He is survived by his son, James Evans; daughter and son-in-law, Bobbe Ann and Roderick Gray; granddaughters and spouse, Laura and Ryan Fischer and Lisa Gray; great granddaughter, Lily Fischer

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2024 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Calhoun officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service in Conasauga Cemetery.
