Jimmy Ray Tipton, age76, of Riceville, TN, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at his residence. He had worked as a union stewart for over 30 years with the Teamsters Union. Jimmy was the son of the late James and Willie Mae Tipton. He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above and brother-in-law, Bill Smith.

Survivors include a brother,Marvin Tiptonof Etowah, TN, and two sisters and brother-in-law, Joan Smith of Louisville, KY, andEvelyn and Larry Rowland ofRiceville, TN; daughter and spouse,Wendell and Karen Boring; and grandchildren,Amber and Drew Boring; and several nephews and nieces.

Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2014 at Goodsprings Cemetery with thePastor Chris Taylor officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

Pallbearers will be Darren Rowland, Larry Rowland, David Baker, Jacob Akins, Dakota Akins, and Chase Rowland.
