Jo Ann Womac, 66, of Spencer, TN, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

A daughter of the late James Dean and Margaret Carver, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ransom "Sonny" Womac; father, James Dean; mother and step-father, Margaret and G.C. Carver; and sister, Shirley York.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James and Nikki Womac of Harrison; grandchildren, Brance and Audri Nichols of Knoxville, David and Emily Womac of Portsmouth, VA, and Ana Lafontaine of Harrison; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Jackie Carver and Bugs and Carol Carver all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in the North Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Sorah officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Meadow Fork Cemetery, Wednesday, December 4th for the 2:00 p.m., committal service.
