Joan Hampton, age 83 of Athens, TN passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at her residence.
Survivors include Husband: T. E. Hampton of Athens, TN; Sons Virgil Hampton of Hudson, FL, James Hampton of Englewood, TN; Daughters Barbara Maxwell of Cuyohoga Falls, OH, Rebecca Young of Englewood, TN; Sisters Alice Mae Swearingen of OH, Carol Tennant of OH; Grandchildren Charles Hampton, David Hampton, Nathan Hampton and Stacey Hampton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September, 4th, 2013 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Bill Vest officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
