Joann Elliott, 93, of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, December 22, 2025.

Joann was a member of Etowah First Baptist Church where she raised her children. She was an expert seamstress, quilter, and dollmaker. In her spare time, she loved working in her flower garden. Joann was a loving mother and sister. She always loved and supported her children in all their endeavors and was instrumental in helping Liddi though nursing school. Joann also loved her loyal fur babies, Mollie, BJ and Bella.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Elliott; daughter, Patti Elliott; parents, L.G. and Blanche Trusley; son-in-law, Joe Gaston.

Survivors include her brother, Glenn Trusley; daughters and son-in-law, Kitti Gaston; Liddi and Jeff Berry.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Greenhill Cemetery with Dr. Vant Hardaway officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.
