JoAnn Watson, 72, of Athens, TN, passed away, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Hassie Brown and preceded in death by her Husband, Rondal Watson; parents, listed above. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Hembree of Athens; granddaughter, Caitlyn Givens of Athens; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Tommy Hayes of Etowah; Several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2013 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Family will receive friends, Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at McMinn Memory Gardens Tuesday, January 8th for the 11:00 a.m., committal service.
