Johnny Royalston Culpepper

Johnny Royalston Culpepper, of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Woods Memorial Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a member of Mars Hill Methodist Church and the TN Walking Horse Assoc. He enjoyed going to Hardees and having coffee with his friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Royalston Culpepper.

Survivors include one son, John Mark Culpepper of Englewood, TN; two daughters, Sarah Kincannon of Salt Lake City, UTand Kelly King and husband Mark of Athens, TN; mother, Helen Culpepper of Englewood, TN; two brothers, Leonard Culpepper of Cleveland, TN and Malcolm E. Culpepper of St. Matthew, S.C.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2011, in the South Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm Tuesday prior to the service.
