Johnny A. Wilson, 86 of Athens passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

Preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Jessie Wilson.

He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church; an avid UT fan, music lover and passionate fisherman.

Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Matt Disney of Louisville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Blanche Wilson of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Austin Wallace, Justin Wallace, Stefan Wilson, Kelci O'Keefe, Luke Disney and Gavin Disney; 7 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Jerry Brock, special friends, Mildred Smith and Richard Heath.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Atkins officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow service to New Zion Cemetery.
