Juanita Mavity Liner, 91 of Calhoun, TN went home to be with Jesus Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born February 26, 1927 to Col. and Anna Lula Mavity. She was a member of Clearsprings Fellowship Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Vernon Liner; daughter, Etta Ann Floyd; granddaughter, Kimberlie Floyd; brothers, Stanley, Bernie, Howard and Paul Mavity; sisters, Hazel Townsend, Ginnie Henderson and Bodie Bishop. Juanita enjoyed studying her Bible, writing poetry and she also wrote and directed many plays including four Hee-Haws and two that were performed at the Gem Theater. She was a graduate of Calhoun High School and attended business school; she worked as a telephone operator, and was a welder during WWII. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Liner Snyder and Clifton Snyder; grandchildren and spouses, Aaron Floyd, Robbie and Jamie Lovingood, Eric and Whitney McCoin, Matthew and Cristi Snyder, Adam and Hannah Boggess, Ezekiel and Leslie Snyder, Titus and Ginger Snyder, Joseph and Elizabeth Green, Clay and Naamah Jones; great-grandchildren, Dakota and wife, Presley Boggess, Rebekah, Michaela, and Savannah Boggess, Esther, Ezrah, Eleasah Snyder, Haley, Haven, Harmony and Adore Snyder, Abagail, Caden and Susanna Jones, Bryleigh, Noah, Kolbyn Lovingood, Dixie and Levi McCoin; great-great-grandchild, Fontanna Boggess; many loved nieces and nephews. Her love of the Lord and family was evident in her life; her prayers were for everyone to come to know and love her best friend, Jesus. She has already preached her own funeral. Her last words to us were, "You never stop learning and don't graduate until your day comes" God bless all who reads this and we hope to see you on graduation day.Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Exline, Pastor Titus Snyder and Pastor Gary Moates officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25th at the funeral home and proceed to Old Clearsprings Presbyterian Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.Matthew, Ezekiel, and Haven Snyder, Adam and Dakota Boggess, Clay Jones, Robbie Lovingood and Joseph Green will serve as pallbearers. Caden Jones, Kolbyn Lovingood and Noah Lovingood will serve as honorary pallbearers.
