Juanita Eva Wilcox Garrett, 75, of Reliance passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home.She was a daughter of the late Harley and Carrie Wilcox and a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, James H. Garrett; parents, listed above; and brothers, Billy Gene Heddan and Boyd Wilcox.

Juanita was the matriarch of her family, very active in her church. She was one of many prayer warriors at Greasy Creek Baptist Church and very active with the food bank in Polk Co.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, David and Eva Stewart of Reliance, TN; grandsons, Peyton and Travis Stewart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann Campbell Guest of Cleveland, TN, Ray and Loranza Frank of Benton, TN, Robert and Geneva Frank of Reliance, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loyd and Ruby Wilcox of Reliance, TN, Frankie and Robbie Wilcox of Reliance, TN, Melvin and Laura Mae Wilcox of Tellico Plains, TN, Roy and Gail Wilcox of Reliance, TN, and Eddie Wilcox of Reliance, TN.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Cecil Williams officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service. Interment will follow service to Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Reliance.
