Judith Boyd age70 ofBenton, TN,passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at U.T. Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. She was thedaughter of Edwin and Eva "Saari" Ryynanen.She lived her faith daily and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Athens, TN. She had a great love for music, which she passed on to her family and shared as the organist in her home parish of St. Therese Catholic Church in Germfask, MI, for over 15 years. Judith retired from teaching school after 28 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Boyd; and her parents, listed above.

She is survived by her daughters, Kari Moates of Benton, TN and Heidi Bosma of Athens, TN; sisters and brother-in-laws, Eva Lafave, Vida Tebby , andSally and Chuck Hurley all of Ishpeming, MI; brothers and sister-in-law, Ken and Leona Ryynanen of Houghton, MI,Phil and Carole Ryynanen of Baraga, MI andDavid Ryynanen of Duvall, WA; grandchildren, Jacob, Katherine, Willow, Christian, Kelcie, Corbin, Kalyse and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Athens, TN, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Randy Stice officiating. Thefamily will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.Interment will be held at a 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at Riverside Cemetery in Germfask, MI.
