Kathy Dianne Hale, 57, of Athens, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born May 10, 1954, she was a native of Athens and lived here most of her life. A graduate of McMinn Central High School Class of 1972, she worked at Athens Regional Medical Center from 1975 to 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jimmy Louise Roberts; her father, Carl Edward Hale; and one brother, Scottie Jennings Hale. Survivors include two brothers, Donald Edward Hale and Gregory Clay Hale, both of Etowah; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be 8 p.m. Monday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Jeff Blanchette officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
